Shame on you, Canadian Breast Cancer Society! And shame on anyone who wouldn't donate to you if you accepted money from an exotic dancers' association. Shame on anyone who would stigmatize women for making money off their breasts. Shame on anyone who would enjoy life in a society where women are objectified, and yet ostracize any woman who tried to capitalize on that fact. Shame on you for projecting your own shame onto women who are trying to do a good deed. Shame on them all.

When I am gainfully employed, I usually sponsor Marn, who participates in the Run For The Cure, but I haven't this year because I haven't had money to donate. When I do again, I will still donate, but I will include a letter explaining my disgust at their decision. I considered boycotting my donation, but that would be nonsensical. I obviously want to see an end to breast cancer, and so do the dancers who raised the money in the first place.

For fuck's sake, if I were the BCS, I'd be all like "Hey, look! Women who show off their boobs for a living want to keep them healthy - don't you want to see healthy boobs? Donate money, motherfuckers!" It only makes sense.
